Some institutions are independent, some others are under the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior, Electoral Councils, etc. However, most of them are working with the Ministry of Health to prmote hospital birth registration. Registering newborns is the hospitals is a very good strategy to reduce under registration in a permanent manner, and make the registration services more accesible to people. Dear Tiensi,

Last year, we work in collaboration with Ministry of Health to exchange information and report number of kids registered in hospital, and nurses resposible to told parents to register their kid in the Civil registration office inorder to get their birth certificate.
