Dear Tiensi,
Thank you very much for your interest in CLARCIEV. CLARCIEV unites civil registry institutions from Latin America and the Caribbean, but we would be glad to exchange information and cooperate with institutions from other countries and regions. If you go to PUBLICATIONS, you will find many usefull invesitigations regarding civil registration. Also, we will continue updating the section of BEST PRACTICES. You could get some ideas there to replicate in Kiribati. We organize yearly events to discuss advances in civil registration. We will keep you updated to see how we can cooperate.
Regards,
CLARCIEV team

Dear Tiensi,
In Latin America, civil registry institutions are under different governmental agencies from country to country. Some institutions are independent, some others are under the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior, Electoral Councils, etc. However, most of them are working with the Ministry of Health to prmote hospital birth registration. Registering newborns is the hospitals is a very good strategy to reduce under registration in a permanent manner, and make the registration services more accesible to people.

Please if you can invite the delegation from Civil registration in Kiribati.

we required your support and learn from other countries experiences on Civil registration process.
In Kiribati registration is very low and people do not know value and important of birth registration or identification.
